Warm-up

"Every student who passed had done the simulation." Which sentence must be true?

  1. Every student who did the simulation passed.
  2. No student who skipped the simulation passed.
  3. Most students passed.
  4. The simulation is enough to pass.
  5. Some students passed without the simulation.
Show answerHide answer

Answer: B

Passing needed the simulation. So skipping it means not passing. A and D are the trap: the sentence never says the simulation was enough.

Maths (no calculator in 2026)

Harder: several steps

log₁₀ 2 is about 0.301. How many digits does 2¹⁰⁰ have?

  1. 30
  2. 31
  3. 32
  4. 100
  5. 301
Show answerHide answer

Answer: B

Multiply first: 100 × 0.301 = 30.1. So 2¹⁰⁰ is about 10 to the power 30.1. That is between 10³⁰ and 10³¹. 10³⁰ is a 1 with 30 zeros, so it has 31 digits. A (30) is the trap: it forgets the first digit.

We wrote these for this page, in the style of the test. They are not CISIA questions. "Harder" means harder than our warm-up, not a promise about the real test.

How buying works

  • Practice access opens in November 2026.
  • The number of tests and questions is not set yet.
  • You pay once, by card, on a secure Stripe page. The price is in euros, VAT included. Your bank converts it. There is no subscription.
  • Access: from the day practice opens until the last test window closes (August to September 2027).
  • All sales are final (Terms, section 2). One exception: if we cancel the Crash Course, you get back the course part of the price, not the practice part, and we offer you a place in a later course where one exists (Terms, section 8). We can also move the session dates (Terms, section 8). If you live in the EU and buy as a consumer, the mandatory consumer law of your country also protects you (Terms, section 12).
  • A parent can pay. At checkout, enter the email your child will use. The login code goes there. One account is for one student.

Nobody can promise admission. Your child's university decides, with the score and its own rules.
